Do I need an appointment?
Yes, appointments are necessary for all of our services. When scheduling an appointment, we take a nonrefundable deposit over the phone. This deposit goes toward your total and secures your appointment time. We do offer same day appointments as well.
Does this take the place of a doctor’s office ultrasound?
No it does not! Women seeking an elective prenatal ultrasound with Stork Secret must already be receiving treatment with a healthcare provider for prenatal care and have already undergone a diagnostic ultrasound ordered by their provider to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies, and to look for any other pregnancy related issues. Stork Secret ultrasounds are strictly non diagnostic and for entertainment purposes only.
Can I bring my family and friends?
Yes! Stork Secret offers a relaxing home like environment for moms to be to come together and celebrate their little one with family and friends. We encourage you to invite as many people as you want and of course kids are welcome!
Will a licensed sonographer perform my ultrasound?
All of our sonographers have completed a diagnostic ultrasound program and are registered or registry eligible. Stork Secret sonographers are highly trained to get the best image possible of your little.
How early can gender be determined?
Gender determination is available starting at 14 weeks. If the baby is uncooperative and we are unable to determine the gender, we will reschedule you at a later date with no additional cost.
When is the best time for a 3D/4D ultrasound?
20 to 32 weeks is the best time to come see your little in 3D/4D. The baby can be seen as a whole between 20 to 24 weeks. 25 weeks and up the baby has more fat and can see better facial features. After 33 weeks, it becomes more difficult to obtain a good picture because the baby is running out of room.
